Nathan recently achieved one of his Outcomes goals, which was to find a volunteer role within his local community.
Nathan achieved this goal recently as he was hired as a volunteer at the Mangere Bridge Library.
Over the course of the past month, Nathan has been volunteering once a week for an hour.
Some of his duties at the library include organising and packing away books to their appropriate labelled section or sticking labels on unused envelopes.
The staff at the Mangere Bridge Library are always very welcoming to Nathan and recognise him as an important member of the team.
Nathan is always very happy and enthusiastic about engaging in his volunteer role and enjoys the time that he spends at the library.
This opportunity at the library has encouraged Nathan to meet new people, explore new environments and give back to his community.
Thank you to the staff for supporting Nathan and encouraging participation!
